Friend
I have little choice. Where I live, it does get rough here...and I do Mean ROUGH!
You know there are times I can just simply get my power cruiser out of storage, I'm too mean a MoFo to just give up on this 'toy'.
It also keeps me in shape as I need to do this before I give up the ghost,
The 'bottom line' is that 5 miles down the coast my homies are catching 20 to 30 lb Cohos at 160 to 180 feet.
I care little for talk about catching fish, buddy (as soon as my back gets realigned)
Time to scent the hook and set the planer for 170 feet.
I don't fish for sport as I'm too cheap to buy my own seafood

Good Huntin,
Fred

Man your rig looks ways solid. It looks GREAT!

It's just not me, Buddy, I've crewed on vessels with passion up to 50' long on boats that where worth more than I would ever hope for to earn in my lifetime.

. The boats I've owned in the end where always based on speed that was in my soul being born almost next to The AutoBahn in Germany.

(Sheit we've got a serious Gale blowing through this house....cool!)

Yah, I'd toss a hook overboard sometime off the stern pulpit on a trolling rod and catch a few fish but deep inside all I wanted was to break the Sound Barrier...

Does that make me a true 'fisho' prolly not Josh? No but if I may say, I had a hoot catching it as well as anyone who gets a 'buzz on' for their Evening Meal as fresh as it gets

Years ago, I went back to Nature and caught a 27 lb Ling Cod at the Bottom of Vananda Harbour, Texada Island, BC. on the first day that we got there.

I was elated as was my girlfriend as we lived off the land and the sea (back in the early eighties for over 5 years)

Ok, I'm now 59 years old and the adrenaline is no longer as strong as it used to be. Ok, so now I stalk the salmon, (cause I'm still too cheap to buy my own fish).

(Isn't that what all old men do when they get old, ELM?)

Or do they play with the cards of Fate in Vegas?

The bottom line: If it ain't fun, why the Feck bother, right?
As far as I can tell, ELM, we're both having a blast. sweet!

Be well fellow adventurers. May the thrill last forever!

Fred
