Hi all, just wondering, do you guys know the weight distribution of the revolution? Meaning is it distributed 50%-50% front and back? Is it heavier at the back>??

I ask because I'm about to install my wall rack, and my plan was to just divide the size by 3 and then just install the racks there, that would mean my rack will be 4.5' from the front and from the back of the kayak.

Does this sound right?

Thanks
Dan

I think you are safe dividing by three. You want the middle not to bow or sag. I have floated one in the pool a number of times and played with the best place to carry weight, appears the mid point is about right for flotation. So it should be close dry.

When we had our Revo, the dealer told me that the centre of gravity was the Hobie logo on the side. That seemed to be pretty close to accurate.

The cup holder is the middle, that logo is less than a foot forward so I think I'm good. Going to do the drilling right now.
