I had heard mid to late August.
My wife is recovering from some fairly serious surgery, and I wouldn't be able to try the New Revo until September, which is what I told my dealer.
Since this is a brand new Mirage yak for Hobie, I'm okay with a second or third factory run versus the virgin run.
If this yak performs as well as many of us feel, it could become Hobie's best seller in a short time. There are a lot of us, who have been looking for a Mirage Yak in this length/weight and load capacity.
A watcher of this industry thinks the Revo 11.5 might be the fastest of the Hobie herd to go with great handling and ease of getting to and from our vehicles and ease of storage.
He apparently saw some 2012 promo ads by Hobie, and they didn't say that the Oasis was their fastest mirage yak as in the past.
Speed is not that important to me as ability to cut through waves and handle wind to go with the other benefits, I noted above.

Hobie is a sharp marketing company. It is hard to believe that they would have this publicity and the Revo 11 on their home page and not be available until 2012.
Maybe your dealer doesn't plan on buying, stocking and selling Revos until next year. If Hobie starts selling the Revo 11 this month or in September, that dealer might be a candidate for the long list of extinct yak dealers.
I called again today and they said later this month or next month, whenever Hobie decides to release them. That's a lot better than "2012", but still no specific date.
