I'm trying to replace my jib traveler track and I notice the rivets to do so seem specialized. My Hobie dealer says he can get the rivets, but he not sure how to install them. Does it take a special rivet gun?

The rivets are essentially the same as all the other pop rivets on the boat, with the exception of a countersunk head. You use the same pop rivet tool to set them.

If your pop rivet tool will not fit all the way into the jib traveler track, put a nut or some small washers over the mandrel of the pop rivet so it allows the tool to pull each rivet tight.
