Has anyone come up with a good system to mount a camera?

I'd like to use one of the back rod mounts on my Outback to fit a monopod of about 3 feet height. This would support either a video or still camera. But I'm not able to locate a product that mounts this way. The commercially available monopods I've found seem to all require a separate mounting system.

Thanks for any input.

YakAttack Panfish mount is what I use- and you have a separate mounting system, but it is the cat's meow- has a friction feature that allows you to pan the camera up to 360 degrees with the mount locked down securely-
