Steering lever insert pulling out

On my 2010 Oasis, the steering lever set screw insert is pulling out. I tightened the set screw a little and noticed the effect was the insert it threads into has started to pull out of the plastic / nylon steering lever material.

Is there any fix besides a new steering level with insert and set screw?

That's it... you need a new lever (warranty no charge). I believe there was a bad run of handles. That was fixed some time ago.
