Has anyone tried to make beach wheels that was 2 pieces, one for each hull ? each one having 2 wheels. I found 4- 8" wide 10" diameter plastic wheels (free of course) but they have a 1/2 in axle hole, I have axles also. Mount axle cross-ways on a 2x6 16" long, with smaller pieces of wood length wise to keep straight on each hull, bungee cord to keep on hull. Should cost about $5.00 to make,,,

I have seen them... worked fine. seemed a bit more difficult to load the boat on the things - but hey $5!
