How can I tell if a 2010 AI is the real deal or an Adventure with a conversion kit installed?

The back of the kayak port and starboard side should say Hobie Adventure Island. Island is missing on the straight Adventure or at least on mine.

Hopefully the markings are universal because the statement of manufacture isn't any help. For my AI, it only says "Model Name: Mirage Adventure" and "Type Boat: Other".... so I guess that the hull number wouldn't clarify anything either but the hull does say Adventure Island.

The drive may be another clue. The Adventure conversion kit doesn't come with square tip turbo fins. So if it is a standard drive then most likely a conversion.

What is the color? If it is a 2010 Dune, easy, then it is a conversion. Dune AI's weren't sold factory complete until 2011.

If it was done correctly, there should be no real difference between them.
