Kayak Color and Visibility

Dune, aka White, is invisible in a chop. You just look like another whitecap.

If you want Dune, get a yellow or orange PFD, yellow or orange storage box for the back, and for sure, a yellow or orange flag... and on your head, wear one of these:




(I have a dune revo11 and oasis and have all of the above... except the hat )



It's not as good as an orange yak, but it's better that white all around.

Here is a picture of several kayak fisherman earlier this year. Most of the kayaks in the picture are Hobies, either papaya or dune, with one olive. Most have flags flying.
