A very sad story, the dog owner was struck by a drunk driver fleeing the scene of another accident. The accident happened about 1 hour before this video. The owner was out jogging with her dog (on the sidewalk away from the road), they were both hit and the scared and injured dog ran off.
Amazing story, now I for sure am going to get a goPro camera.

Wow!! I just watched that video after my stepson put a note on face book saying, "That looks like something Roger would do!" I don't know about all that but I do know that guy has a good heart. Once again in the middle of human tragedy, an action of true compassion elevates the human spirit to where it belongs. Yeah, Hobie that's really good advertising but the more important message has to be, Hey Hobie owners you guys are the best! Thank you for letting me be a part of this crowd.

Agreed.

That video / story is an emotional roller coaster. While we here at Hobie are proud of what one of our Hobie owners was able to do in this situation, it started as an awful event. Our condolences to the Chen family.
