Video at night ain't easy

Im trying to come up with a way to use my go pro at night you would think this would be fairly easy. Well its not here is a sample video shot at night .Keep in mind Im using a very bright wide angle dive light made for shooting video underwater its 5.5 watts 300 lumens and shines at a angle of 60 degrees.You cant tell in the video but this light, lights up my backyard better then my 100 watt floodlight

Yeah - my experience with GoPro cameras is that they work great in direct sunlight - but even on cloudy days they tend to not get enough light. The lenses are very tiny on those cameras. I hear the version 2 is a little better - but I haven't tried one, I'm still using the original version - $300 is a little rich for me right now.

So far, this has been the best adaptation I have seen with the GoPro for night fishing.

The led light diffuser makes all the difference, plus its a GP 2 which I think has a larger lens than the original - I think both of those things are working well together.
