Does anyone have a source for reasonably priced covers for a hobie 16?
Thanks!

If you are looking for a general, full boat cover, the Hobie Catalog illustrates them and they are about 200-250 bucks. I have one and it works quite well to cover the whole boat. However, you cannot "trailer" the boat with this cover.

For trailering, SaltyDogMarine.com makes the Topgun covers (one for each hull) which are trailerable and heavy duty, they are about 400 bucks. I have these (hulls only) covers too and they are superb for trailering/protecting the hulls. Keep in mind, SaltyDog is very busy. It took me over two months to get mine - and, you must pay in advance!!

Hope this helps,

Dave

$30 at Home Depot got me a heavy duty UV resistant tarp and some bungies to latch to the boat, covers the entire thing, doesnt look bad, and it was 1/10th the cost of a legit cover.
