Hi David - I just tested it and it worked fine for me.
I don't know what to tell you.
Photo is taken from the top of the mast looking down from my bucket truck.

do you have to have a usernamd and password to get to that photo? I had the same problem because I was posting from my Yahoo groups album, try creating an album on catsailor.com and than linking to it from here.

Hey Starmarx,

Great shot!!!! Great boat!!! That's the kind of boat I want when I grow up.

Happy Sailing,

Our new boat. The winds were nice today so we blew off chores and went sailing.

Here is my '82 H16... First sail should be tomorrow, provided there is some wind in the afternoon when I cut out of work early!

*note, I know my main wasn't up all the way... it was the first time I raised it and I wasn't sure how far to go... now I know it goes all the way up and locks in place... :)

If somebody knows the name of my sail pattern, I'd love to hear it.

Unfortunatly according to my sources

http://www.hobiecat.com/hobieclass/eHCA ... 4_2006.pdf Page 18

Your sail pattern does not have a name just a number mine does not have a name either.

I'm drawing my memory from an earlier post. I believe that era was when Colman owned Hobiecat, and that sail pattern was called a Colman Special. Matt Bounds would know for sure.

I don't think so... because the h16 that sits next to mine at the dock actually says "coleman" on the side near the stern under the stripes. Not sure what year it is.. I didn't check the hull ID on it... but that one is definitely a coleman era. Mine doesn't say coleman on it at all...

Here is a picture from my 2nd voyage:

Here is a pic of Ye ol Chum Bucket:

This is a 1988 model (according to the title) that appears to be a Coleman issue. Browsing through the history of sail patterns that is linked above, this one is shown to be from an earlier year and is not listed for 1988. :?: I used to have a matching jib but it escaped from the sail tube somewhere on I-64. I believe the jib must be from an even older boat though it is in good shape.

Thanks, it's one one of my 3 screens here at work. :) I wish I would have had time to push it away from the dock a little to get a better picture but the wind was blowing in, so it was being pushed tight to the dock.

Not a bad picture from a cell phone!
