Hello. I have noticed there is a steering upgrade available for the PA 14. Is this for the older versions. I have seen it on Austin Kayaks and read the favourable reviews. I can not find anything on this forum and feel a bit confused in case this isnt what i think it is.
Ist it a diy steering upgrade for older pa owners to have steering like the new pa.
How hard is it to do. it looks complicated.
How much difference does it make
any feedback will be helpful

I e mailed you a copy of the instructions (but your email got bounced, if you send me a valid e mail or update the one you linked here I'll be able to send those to you)

This kit (part # 84506201) is just to upgrade the steering to have it on the side with a handle like on current PA's - it only works to convert original style knob-steering, which was attached to the seat

Firstly thanks for the super quick response. Will i still require the larger drum upgrade ? Does this conversion improve the steering or is it simple an option to have steering located elsewhere?

The Larger Drum is not part of this kit - but you may already have that - pretty much all PA's had that upgraded very long ago.
I had '[email protected]' and it bounced... twice now - you have an issue there on that e mail address FYI - it's because the file I'm trying to provide you exceeds your limit - got another?
