The other day while at the local Hobie Cat shop a guy stated that there was an article that showed how all the hobie sails colors have evolved over the years...
He just couldnt remember where he saw this!

Does anyone know where this can be found??

Ive seen so many hobie pics that do think there are many other color combinations, and I dont see mine either....the list has many year gaps and years shown may have more sail color choices.

Perhaps Mr. Miller can point us in the right dirrection..??

Thanks for all the info! I fould my sails. Its from the 1988 collection although my hulls are from nov 1987.

well generally hobies are made like cars, as in the 88 model years are produced in 87. so the 88 model year sails are the original sails for nov 87 hulls. unless of course your boat was completely swapped out in parts and rails and sails and its just a coincidence.

Actually I was wrong my sails are the "Prism" model from 1983 but my hulls are CCMB3859D787 meaning they are a 1987 model built on April 1987.
1983 Sails
1987 hull...
5 year gap...

Wierd!
