SRAces....the silent seat is still performing.....I caught a 4# 7oz rainbow/steelhead today!

That's awesome! Congrats! I've always been a firm believer that being quiet and stealthy when freshwater fishing is the key to catching more fish.

Thanks for the tips on your Mirage Drive maintenance. While I have a 2012 and 2013 PA, the 2012 hardly hits the water unless I let a friend use it. When I purchased the 2013 model, I just kept using the Mirage Drive unit from the 2012. It's been over 2 years and it's still quiet as a mouse. I do check it before each outing for tightness of parts, and loose or frayed parts. Only had to replaced those small split rings once. They probably caught on something. I rinse the drive after every outing and lubricate the drive with BreakFree CLP once a week. Absolutely no issues.

I've been really impressed with the durability of the unit. Steelhead and rainbows...you're making me jealous! Have a great holiday weekend!
