I have a pronounced edge on the seam of the hull. What the heck is going on? When I run my finger along the seem I can feel an edge. Is the hull loosing its seal? I just noticed it today. This is a 2012 hull The warranty expired in February :( :(

Is this something the plastic welder can fix, or is this the beginnings of a more pronounced hull issue.

The two halves the mold don't always line up perfect - sometimes you have a step along the edge in areas - that looks normal. It isn't two pieces - it's one solid part of plastic (look inside and you'll see what I'm saying. The outside gets trimmed by hand, and they all vary.

Thank you for responding. I see you work for HOBIE. It is unusual cause I never noticed these before. I will take your advice and peek inside.
