What is under at the black plate. Can I remove this plate and mount a front rod holder or a camera or can I get a mount that goes on top of this black plate? I don't want to drill and more holes. I bought this boat used in great condition and just need to know what this plate is for.Is it stock or added by the last owner? Any help would be appreciated this is my first Hobie Kayak. I had a an Ocean Prowler 134 before and had a front Scotty Rod holder.
