Hull dents are not necessarily a defect or indication that anything is wrong. In fact, they will generally pop back out on their own in the sun, or with a hot water technique which I believe Hobie has in a Youtube video. Just keep that in mind in case any future "dents" occur in your new boat down the road. Good luck and have fun. It's a great boat.

Thanks Tom. I will keep that in mind. That said, these werent dents, they were literally cratered in bad. Like i said, the size of a basketball. Not acceptable for a brand new boat...
Im lost on the drum. Guess i better read the directions...lol

We have been very upfront about delays on new 2015 products. Dealers are informed nearly weekly with updated information. Latest info is unchanged from months ago.

There were just to many demands on our suppliers for them to keep up. Boat production parts have had priority. Accessories are delayed ... and the new stuff is extremely popular.

There was some confusion from Hobie Cat about included accessories (also in limited availability like all other accessories thus far). That should all be clear now.

I don't like delays either. Drives us nuts... believe me.

Matt, I have checked the drums over and over and cant see anything wrong
Could you be a little more specific on what you see might be wrong please so i can check it.
Also could you please specify what does come with the 14 ?
None of my plano boxes were in my package so they had to pull them from another boat.
What i received is as stated:
1. 2 rod holders
2. 1 cup holder
3. 3 plano boxes....two for the hatch and one under the seat.
I was under the impression that it came with one H-Rail flat mounting base as well. Is this true? The 12 comes with one.
If not i need to order a 3rd one. I need three for my setup.
4. The booklets dvd and thru hull attachments, steering etc.

Also would like to know what these rubber grommets are for.
Here are some more pics of the drums as well. Thank You.

3 Plano boxes??? Mine only came with two.

The rubber grommets are for the paddle... drip stoppers.

There was confusion on what it came with. They thought it came with three so they pulled it off the shelf . Mine didnt have any boxes in the yak or the accessories box. They had to pull the two small ones from another boat.
Went and ordered a front hatch bucket and purchased some more stuff today and he told me it only comes with two boxes.
I offered to pay for it but he said dont worry about it.

Download the Hobie parts and accessories catalog. (under the accessories tab)
In the back of the catalog the parts are pictured and listed for all of the Hobie products. Good resource for when you need to replace parts
