I have the exact same setup and it's great. It's never got stuck or been an issue while putting or taking down the jib in any conditions. And I don't use that hateful Hobie supplied jib halyard, I use a much stiffer double braided line.

Another thing to note is that it is placed center on the mast so there is no pulling of the halyard to the left or right.

You mean instead of the Dyneema? That stuff is a PITA for sure. My newer boat came with a much harder jib halyard and it's so much easier to use. The Dyneema might not stretch but it creeps, at least if you don't have the additional cam cleat.

I'll be adding the Power Pack this year.
