Hi There
I am trying to work out the exact age of my H18 as its my first hobie cat im a bit new to all this
It dosnt quite fit into the formula on the hobie serial website.
On Top RHS of transom CCMP15194 is engraved then underneath in the middle of transom 393 is there inside a rectangle with raised letters (look like label maker style letters). Obviously been put into the mould.
I tried to attach pictures but cant work out how to attach.
Sail number is 15195. Has a small clear panel with "hobie 18" at the bottom. Sail is all white
It would seem its a 93 or 94 maybe.
Rudders are after 86 I think
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Gene

The raised numbers are a mold mark. The serial number is incomplete.

The Hobie 18 used CCMC in its later years. CCMP is not shown as used for a Hobie 18.

H16 P
H20 P

Ahhh... you are in Australia (looked at your IP)? Could have been a AUS build boat I suppose, but I think Bashford used a different serial sequence maybe?
