I'm looking to purchase wings for my hobie 18. I haven't been able to find any in my area. I'm located in New Hampshire and am willing to travel if the price is right. If someone has them and is looking to make some cash please let me know.

I have wings (in South Africa). Have absolutely no interest in them and relegated to scrap heap.

Do not believe that it is financially viable to ship them to US.

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah I don't think that its viable to have them shipped to the US. Thanks though.

Also thanks for the other reply about the ones in VA. I'm looking to spend like a quarter of that. I picked up the boat for a thousand and am in the middle of doing a complete restoration. I'm quickly approaching my budget and the wings for $600 will definitely put me over.

Most hobie 18 wings i've seen for sale go for $800 - $1000 so $600 is a great deal and since they're rare and no longer made, sell very quickly. Another way to score a set of wings is to buy a parts boat with them, snatch off the wings then sell/part out the boat.

I bought my SX wings for $750 last year. They're certainly a pricy addition to a boat that's worth maybe twice that. However, they keep their value and increase the value of the boat as well, so the question becomes one of simply affording them and how much they are worth to you.
