I need help changing the back rest cover

I destroyed my seat back cover on my one day old PA 12 and have gotten my new seat back cover in. I'm not sure how to unhook the string from the lumbar tensioning knob.

How did u destroy it?

I had it on my trailer and one of the straps came loose while I was riding about 45 mph on a back road and I saw a Yellow blur in my rear view mirror. She flipped and landed on the chair top and I drug her to a stop.. Just a couple of scratches on the hull and tore up the top of the seat. I thought I was going to throw up..
