My wife and I took out our new PA 14s out for the first time this past weekend and had a blast! We went to the river at Beavers Bend and caught a bunch of trout.
It rained a lot so the bank was muddy and the water was freezing so I found myself walking across the front of my kayak to get to shore.

The front hatch cover is too soft to walk on so I came up with an idea for a new hatch cover.
I have the materials and the knowledge to build a carbon fiber front hatch cover so I can walk across it and also decrease the weight at bit.

I'll post some pictures as I go but I was wondering if anybody else has done this?

Tim

Make a whole Carbon Fibre PA14, that would be great :-)
