I was draining the hulls of my '87 16 last weekend, and something peculiar happened:
The one hull that had more water in it than the other-- had small flakes of plastic that built up by the hole where the water was coming out, restricting the flow.... Once i reached in and took the flakes out, then the water drained cleanly (implying that the flakes were floating around in the hull).
It seems like that plastic might be pieces of the inner lining?? Don't know.. I am worried about this.
(the flakes were clear, thin, about 1/2 an inch in diameter..., maybe enough of them that if they were placed end to end would lead to a piece of plastic about 3 inches wide...)
