Remember to use a stainless steel screw, and be very careful with the countersink. The track is not very thick, so the screw doesn't have much bearing surface on the beveled edge.

The height of the groove opening Plastic vs aluminum is different. The plastic track sticks out further and the groove is narrower due to flex in the plastic. This design places the bearing surface on the luff rope at an equal point as in the aluminum track, so would not block hoisting in any way at all.
