In honor of 40 years of hosting the Madcatter Regatta, Syracuse Hobie Fleet 204 is thrilled to announce our once in a lifetime trophies!
Instead of the usual pickle dish, the awards for the 40th Anniversary Madcatter Regatta will be special edition Hobie “Flying H” charms;
in 14K gold for 1st place,
sterling silver for 2nd and
bronze for third.
Our trophy committee diligently obtained permission from the Alter family and the Hobie Cat Company to use the “Flying H” logo for the awards, and also, to sell the charms as well.
For a limited time Hobie “Flying H” charms will be available for sale! Fleet 204 has been given permission to pre-sell “Flying H” charms to Hobie Class Members. Don’t miss this opportunity to own yours.
Charms will be available for Christmas gifts and for a limited time before Madcatter 40 in May, 2016.
HCC President, Doug Skidmore’s comments after seeing a prototype drawing, “Those are gorgeous! There would be people proud to own one and happy to earn one by placing in the regatta. Please put me on the list to buy one of these!”
