Does anyone know if Hobie has started shipping the Limited Edition Outbacks yet? I have one on order that is supposed to come in November but I haven't heard that any have been shipped yet.

Not really. I called my dealer the other day to ask the same and he said probably towards the end of the month but not a specific date. It's killing me too, especially all the good weather we had last week. Now that's all went to crap.

It would be tough to put those first hull scratches on one of those...

I like the rectangular hatch. I may be buying two Outbacks for my sons, but I'm not sure of the time frame yet. Are there plans to make the rectangular hatch standard on future 2016 regular models or the 2017's?

For sure not the 2016 models but you can purchase the square hatch and install on the regular 2016 Outback.

Has anyone heard anything? I would have thought by now someone would have bragged and posted some pics by now.

My 2016 Outback getting the square hatch installed... It is going to be a great feature, as I used the square hatch in my Pro Angler a lot. Also adding the 9" H-Rail. Love the color of the Outback LE!

That square hatch shouldn't be an option. It should come standard. I love that thing. That tub is by far better than the tackle tray system. I keep my camera pliers lures all kinds of stuff in the tub. I really like the 2016 LE edition but I will take my smelly old yellow 2015 for now. It might not have fish graphics but it's got fish slime every where. Hope y'all get your LE editions

What a shame they didn't fit the square hatch on the good way:
