Transporting Outback on boat

I want to transport my Outback on my fishing boat. The boat has a decent size cockpit with a flybridge. I have concluded that the only way to safely transport the kayak is to, rudder up, stand it up against the cabin and secure it midship and up top to the flybridge. Here is my question: any suggestions on a base to put the bow of the kayak in? The bow of the kayak will rest on the cockpit and I need to build or buy something for the bow to rest on. Any ideas will be welcome. Thanks.
