Hello I am brand new to the forums as I have just purchased and received a 2016 outback.
Several quick questions as I am receiving different answers from different people....
1. on photo 1. is this how the bottom of your yak where they drilled the scupper holes supposed to look??

2. on photo 2 and 3, are the flanges from the kayak cart that support the weight supposed to actually somewhat insert into the bottom of the scupper hole or is the keel just supposed to rest on top of the flanges .. because these flanges don't insert at all into the scupper holes....

3. does it matter which way north/south and west/east the flange rest on the keel since the flanges have a specific shape to them?

Lastly, they installed my anchor trolley about 2.5 feet from the end of the boat.. my other kayaks had the end pulley about 1 foot from the end.. I am concerned that this new distance is going to not have me perpendicular to the waves, hence I will be getting more of a "wave crash" effect when fishing.. the dealer has agreed to move it but I wanted to get a feel from the forum first before I drive the 50 miles again... They also put the "Cleat" on top of the rails instead of on the side of the kayak so now when I have my kayak upside down in the truck, the kayak doesn't sit flat, it sort of rocks on the cleat.. I told them I want that moved as well to the side....

Thanks to anyone who can help!
