was out today sailing and according to my buddy (in front) we took no waves over the bow and only minimal spray (thanks to KB skirts) but I still had 1-2 quarts of water to drain out when I got back to the trailer. any ideas where I may be leaking from?

The black ring seals on the other hatches must be cleaned and lubed regularly with silicone grease.

Also where the steering and rudder lines exit the boat at the rudder the boat will take in some water. If you add a silicone caulk to those holes, the lines can still move but the holes are much smaller.

well I put a little water in the boat and sloshed it around and it appears that one of the "mold plugs" (not sure of the technical name) under the mast step has a small drip (that cant be good??) but its not enough to be the problem. then when I tilted it back water gushed out of the rudder control line holes. seems unlikely that these should be under water but I will look closely next time out...

Also they get twisted, causing leakage. ..... Proper orientation is with the pointy part out. .... there is a photo or diagram somewhere in the forum, but I can't find it at the moment.

Have any wiring holes low down in tankwell?

Best way is to pressurize with reverse vacuum and spray soapy water. carefully checking drive well openings.

Water draining out of rudder lines is normal. It doesn't get in as fast as it can pour out.

If it's from the brass fittings under the mast cup then you have an un-reparable crack. Time to check with your dealer about warranty help. :(

Another potential leak point is the 8" twist and stow hatch frames them selves. They are screwed down but as the hull flexes water gets past the seal, what works best is to remove the hatch screws, dab silicone around the opening then put the hatch back in.
With our TI once you get above a certain speed all the waterflow in the scupper holes reverses direction and become drinking fountains, the rear deck area and the rear seating areas fill with water, so the round hatches are underwater quite a bit of the time. Even with grease or tape over the gasket area water still dripped onto the paper towels I had laying under the hatches (thus the discovery of the outer seal under the screws possibly leaking).
I didn't detect a lot of water coming in thru the rudder steering tubes which I found suprising.
Definately most of my water comes in my front hatch, when I tape over the front hatch I get much less water entry.
Hope this helps
FE
