Many have been motorized with electric, some with gas, what is Hobie's official stance on the maximum horse power rating a Pro Angler 14 can handle ?
Thanks in advance

I was hoping that someone from Hobie would reply to this post...no luck :( According to the decal on the PA 14, the kayak is rated for 400watts. Searching the web, I came up with that being about 1/2 horse power. Thus the 2.5 hp outboards that some have used are only overpowering the kayak by 5 times it's rated capability.
