If you haven't yet done so - remove the skeg line - and do not route it through the steering pulleys - this is what is twisting the hull. We don't run the lines through those pulleys anymore in production either due to this issue where people over tighten the line and leave it cleated for long periods - the plastic has nowhere to go but to deform. Just re-route the up/down lines out of any corner steering pulley and you'll be all good. Heat of the area from the top by pouring some boiling water on it and then re-shape while it's hot..... it will cool and harden and reset back to the original shape.

I did. Didn't make a difference. Just forgetting about it as long as it doesn't crack.

It needs to be heated up and pressed back down - pour some boiling water on the area and re-shape it...

Excuse me while I hijack this thread for a question. Been reading through the forum now that it's warming back up. I took shipment of my pa14 last May from ack and had this same exact problem. Tried a few things but didn't really let it bother me, but now that I see that there is a fix. Haven't messed around with it yet but is it pretty self explanatory to re route the skeg line or can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks. And tight lines.

Yes it's fairly easy. I have been keeping an eye on where the cable now runs though as it now looks like it may be causing some wear on the curve where the cable passes.

Here's the video showing how to route the skeg line on early 2015 model PA's - link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvqJSXlqKks&feature=youtu.be

Well. Here's a brain buster. My skeg Line is already re routed. And it's still bulged out. Should I try the boiling water anyway?
