I will be on Navy Pier watching. At least that is the plan. I am afraid from the shoreline you will be blocked by the spectator boats.

Planning to have my 6 year old with me at least one of the days.

I was also surprised by how little race time there actually is. Lots of festivities, very little racing.

I spectated from my couch when the cup was held in San Francisco Bay. TV coverage was great, no crowds, no hassle parking.

Great practice day today. Two boats flipped (everyone ok). TV coverage is nice, but watching live is very cool. 6 boats foiling at over 30 knots all rounding a mark is awesome in person. The finish line less than 100 yards away is also nice.

Watching BAR pop a wheelie at the finish line can't be replicated on TV.

I've been tracking the race today, it appears if there is no wind, even a ten million dollar boat can't do much. Race appears to be cancelled for today.

My friends tell me it's super hot there today also.

Maybe I'm onto something having designing my boat with supplimental propulsion so I can force and configure my wing to make it's own wind when asked to do so (working as an apparent wind amplifier) when there is no natural wind to speak of. Just sayin...

Better luck tomorrow
