Hello,
I've just taken possession of a PA 17T and have been trying to determine the best way to store and transport.
I was on the support site for the PA 17 (http://www.hobiecat.com/support/mirage-pro-angler-17/) and there is a link for 'Storing Your Kayak' (http://www.hobiecat.com/articles/storing-your-kayak,85/) here it says you can store upside down or hanging.

Then when I downloaded the owners manual from the site they say not to store upside down and not to hang.

User's manual says that storing upright on a flat surface is acceptable.

So, I'm at a bit of a loss on this. I've also seen conflicting posts on whether to use PVC.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

I also just got a 17T and I am super excited about it.

I think recommendations by Hobie on their "storage" page are general recomendations for most of their kayaks. The 17t is a whole different beast. I do not plan on hanging it, that's for sure. I would go with what the owners manual says, since that is specific to the 17t.

For me, I have a trailer with the Hobie cradles. I plan on storing it on there.
