That looks real nice.

I noticed you and your wife have chosen the same Hobie's my wife and I are considering. I am still a little unsure of the Outback vs the Revolution 13'. Did you consider the Revo at all? I do fish, and I've read everything I can about both of them. I've also tested them both on the water but for some reason I can't narrow it down to just one. Any insights that swayed you to the Outback?

Tomorrow I am trying them both again, maybe this time it will be more clear to me.

Thanks. There are nothing wrong with the Revolution. I tried both and found the Outback offer much wider cockpit and has 2 extra rod holder up front. As for speed, the Revolution will out run the Outback. That's just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I like the Revolution too, but I feel the OB cater better to my need which is fishing. I'm sure you will come to the same conclusion if you love to fish. Just make sure you change out the standard rudder and standard fin to the larger sailing rudder and the turbo fin. It does make a big difference. Try it out during your demo.

So...we did round 2 today and I did a trial of the Outback, Revo 13, and Revo 11.

After I did them all, and it was a beautiful day on a calm lake, I did the Outback once more, then decided that was the one for me. I was back and forth 20 times, but for fishing and stability, and my needs, this was it. Now, need to decide on a color, all colors in stock, but not blue.

Placing the order tomorrow for the Outback and Revo 13. Excited!

Thanks for your feedback. Now I need a cart!

I have a Hobie plug in cart and the welds have broken. This appears to be a common issue. It's hung up and never used. Got it with a used Outback, so I took it. I have bought a used Sea Tug. It is great for when I throw the Outback into the bed of my truck and need to get it to the water by myself. It breaks down and fits into the forward hatch. Watch their videos to see how easy it is to take apart and stow...With what I know now about my needs, the Sea Tug is a "No Brainer"...
