I wiped down the PVC with acetone and sprayed 3M #77 on both the (pre-masked) PVC and the indoor/outdoor carpeting....waited 10 minutes to apply/stick together.
The 3M adhesive is bomb proof!

Also I left the carpet about 2" longer than the PVC and tucked and glued it into the pipe ends in a second step.

I used some of the Hobie mat I took out when I put on the Seadeck to cover the end for a bit of a bumper. Couldn't stand wasting it lol.
