If the PVC is sized and mounted so that it conforms to the hull shape, then your hull shouldn't deform - the PVC will be the item that deforms.
Generally, it's leaving a kayak on top of narrow cradles or supports that run perpendicular to the hull that cause hull deformation.
One thing I would advise, however, is that you loosen your trailering straps and remove any heavy items from the kayak when not actually on the way to or from your fishing location.
