You would most likely have to pull the front crossbar off to inspect for these cracks. In my case, they extended through the anchor bolt hole approximately 2" in both the fore & aft direction.

I will have dealer check that when I have boat taken apart and cups reseated with 4200 to make boat stiffer and fix miner leaks.

She was hot and tired. That was her first regatta and she was not use to 5 hours on the water. BUT she was a trouper and hung in there. 8) :lol: :roll:

srm, My H17Sport is a 2000 which I aquired in 2002. Each Spring I take the boat apart to inspect the hulls, cross beams and standing rigging. If I had cracks in the front cross beam prior to the beach flip, they were not visible to the naked eye. However, my original front cross beam was slightly depressed in the center, though I think that was from the previous owner not having the dolphin striker properly tensioned. 8)
