What are you folks using to mount your bigger screens? I just ordered a Helix 9 and need some ideas.

Also got the HB 360 transducer (trolling motor) and I need to figure out a way to mount it off the h-rail so it can stow parallel to the h-rail and obviously deploy straight down off the side.

Appreciate suggestions

I'm at work, but as soon as I get home, I'll post a picture of my rig. I bought two Ram mounts so I could have options. I have the Helix 10, so I bought the large Ram components (D-size).

Option 1: I drilled into the plastic mounting plate on the front starboard side. Then I mounted this...

However, I found I like the head unit closer to my face, so I bought a D-size ball-clamp component and tightened it around my h-bar close to the seat. I LOVE this setup because it brought the screen closer to my face. I used some bicycle tube from walmart to protect that area of the h-bar from the ram clamp. The rubber on the tube also provides friction and prevents ANY sliding on the h-rail.

For mounting your head unit, a 1.5" H-Rail Ram ball will do the job. If you're only interested in the 2.25" RAM ball, then I'd mount to one of the mounting boards on your PA.
