will a hobie PA 14 fit inside the door of an apartment to store inside (just a standard outer door) and how well does it store in a apartment from someone that has one

Width is 38" and height is 20" per specs page. I carry mine through a walk-out basement sliding door for indoor winter storage. I remove the seat, tip it on its side, and with one person at the bow and one at the stern, walk it indoors. Not something I would like to do frequently and not possible to do alone.
