For those looking for the pre-2008 style lifting handle with the screws in the side of the hull (without plastic plugs), I had a difficult time trying to find a set. And the ones that I did find were ~$100-$125 for all four, which is insane. After looking at similar handles, I found a set of kayak handles on Amazon and bought them to give a try. I had to slightly modify where the strap goes into the hole on the hull by using a pair of tin snips to create more of a "V" shape versus the way they come as square/boxed end. After cutting them with the tin snips, I then took a lighter and heated the newly created V-shape to stop the fraying. They slid right in and work perfect. Cost on Amazon was $13.89 +tax for ALL FOUR, which is the price for a single "Hobie" handle when dealers did have them in stock.
