Recieved the 2007 Hobie calendar via mail yesterday.

Two fiberglass boats :( the 16 in January (it's March) and Tiger in December, down from six in '06.

Are there enough people who sail 14, 14T, 16, 17, FX1, Tiger, 18, 18SX, 20 or 21 that would warrant the Class Association making it's own calendar :?: selling it to members and non-members. Did we discuss this last year?

I realize there may only be very few of these boats left in this world, all us sailing them are older than dirt and will no doubt croak very soon and there is no real business sense in producing this antiquated technology any longer, but...

I for one would pay $15 or so for a nice calender.

Beats buying Dr. Crash :?

Good idea, John. And for this proposed calendar, since Hobie also sells bikinis, how about putting some hot babes in bikinis on the boats? Enough with the dudes, already.

I do think the fibreglass boats are sexier, but how can you top adding some bikini clad models to the equation? Really?....

I'm 25 and sail a 17 and a 14T... bring the scantily clad-lady draped fiberglass boats on!

It's getting close to that time of year where the bare breasted boat thrashers start to show themselves......

Gawd, I love bird watching

Consider us united. :D Let's start takin & saving pictures. Maybe the class association "Hotline" is willing to help judge & market the thing. Problem is it may cost closer to $20. The class needs to make a decent profit to make it worthwhile. (If not we can always post them on the Beachcats website)

At least one model of cat per month, crashes, sunsets, girls, guys, campfires, ect the old Hobie way of life. (Keep the ladies presentable or I can't hang it up at work).

Great Idea :!:

There was a photo contest and several (at least 12?) excellent photos were submitted, including everything you've asked for (well at least the sunsets and crashes). Can this years photo contest become 08's fiberglass calender?

Must be PG for our office as well and 20 bucks is no problem for me, especially for promoting the cause...the Hobie Way of Life.
