I currently own a pair of TigerTrax for my Hobie 18 and one wheel just broke. The plastic cracked. The ramp that I use to put the boat in the water is concrete and its end is really bumpy with rocks and cement bags to try to make up for the erosion. Furthermore, past the ramp the river is really shallow and we need to walk the boat for another 75 feet before it gets deep enough to slip the wheels out. The bottom of the river is sandy and rocky and especially oystery. I was considering not replacing the broken wheel and switching to Cat Trax. Has anyone had the chance of comparing them on bumpy surfaces (with the TigerTrax I often get stuck) and are the CatTrax tough eonugh for oysters. Thank you for any help.
Roberto

Cat trax can roll over anything. The oysters shouldn't affect them, especially if the boat is almost floating as you go across. I have never been a fan of the Tiger trax as they push sand rather than roll on it. The roll-eze wheels are also quite good for what your doing. A rubber inflated wheel can be fitted to the bar of your Tiger trax, perhaps for less than a new set of Cat trax.

Thank you much for the input. Is Roll-eze a brand? .. I'll google that!
