Hi Guys,

I have an older Hobie Outback Sport from around 2011 I believe in mint condition...

I love paddling around Amelia Island in North East Florida where I live, but he older style seat causes some serious lower back pain.

Wondering what mods have been done to make the seat more comfortable or replacement options...

Without a doubt, the newer boats are more comfortable. The seats are completely different, but they can not be used in older boats. We had to greatly modify the seating area to accept these new ones. The seat also can be used onshore as a beach chair using the included legs.
