I was wanting to put wings on my Hobie 16 and was wondering if the extra stress would destroy my boat. I have seen the sit-n-sail wings for the Hobie 16 (www.sitnsail.com). Are they any good. I can tig (tungsten inert gas) weld aluminum so custom fabrication is not a problem. Any ideas would help.
thanks,
Evan

the H16 was not designed to handle the loads of wings, if you were to add wings to a new boat all warranties would be void. with that said there many people that do add those wings to the boats and I have not heard of any problems with them.
