dolphin striker mounted electric motor and battery bracket

Hello All,
I have seen old postings of a bracket that pinned to the dolphin striker that held a battery and a 12 volt fishing motor. Looks so much better the the rear mounted brackets that I see now. The company that made them no longer exist. Does anyone know where one can be acquired? Looks like a simple thing to make, but easier to buy. I'm looking to use boat ramps that are not sail friendly and this center mounted, easily removed rig seems Ideal. Any ideas or suggestions are most welcome!

Sounds easy enough to make if you have pictures. I haven't seen that one do you have a link?

I was thinking of something like a mirage drive or a pedal powered outboard type drive mounted up front. It would need to pivot and swing out of the way.

I agree, a water proof self powered unit is best! I found a PDF on line with lots of good info. I don't think I can post it though

A good old fashioned paddle works in most cases. Lol.

That aluminum bracket looks deadly to me after my pitchpole launch at the end of last season. I landed at least 10 feet in front of the boat. I think any thing I add on will have nice rounded corners.. Just me though
