Boom rigging

I have a Harken 3 pulleys on the bottom and two separate single pulleys on the boom. Do any of you know the correct way to run the line through the pulleys?[img][img][/img][/img]

On 'newer' H16's, there are two sets of small blocks.
The first set is two single pulleys, underneath the boom, at the rear, which provides a 2:1 purchase on the outhaul.

The second set is at the very front of the boom, upper and lower triple blocks, for the downhaul.
The upper set attached to the connector to the tack of the main sail, the lower set are attached into the mast slot, low down.
The lower set has a cleat.

Do you have any Hobie fleets near you? Any other H16 sailors near you.

Sounds like my old cobbled main sheet setup in 1983 when we first learned of extreme mast rake. A 5 to 1. As I vaguely remember, a new eye strap on boom for one end of the sheet then woven through bottom blocks back to those on the boom, then through the ratchet. You could rake till the boom touched the Harken.

Any pictured are long gone.

Thank you for the replies. There are a couple 16's here. I'll see if I can check them out. Mine had a cross over in the pulley lines that didn't seem right. I 180'ed one of the shackles on the boom and it seemed to help keep the lines more straight. We are in southern Baja
