I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation to Matt Miller. He is such an incredible asset to this site, Hobie, and especially to Hobie customers. No other corporate insider makes him or herself so available to respond directly and timely to consumers' needs and inquiries. If there existed an Oscar / Tony / Emmy Award for Corporate Customer Service, Hobie would rank up there with Zippo lighters and Surefire flashlights, but Matt Miller would walk away with the award for Best Individual Customer Service Provider.

I realize he cannot answer every question or concern, and I realize he cannot always provide the response one wants to hear, but he extends himself outside of his primary job description (I don't think he is the Customer Service Director) so much for what can only be a genuine belief in the product and desire to share that enjoyment with others. Hobie is truly fortunate to have an employee so dedicated to their product and especially to their customers.

I know in this most challenging time, especially for an industry that is labor-intensive in crafting its product and doing so in a hot zone (CA) so heavily regulated, Matt Miller has stepped up not once, not twice, but time after time after time, and year after year.

So, a big hearty THANK YOU to you Matt Miller!

Hobie has been a huge part of my life... my father taught me to sail on a H14 that he bought on my 10th birthday - and I've worked at Hobie since 2001. It's been a great Ride!
