I need advise on a good trolling motor and a battery for a hobie wave that I’m having a lot of trouble getting out of the narrow channel into the harbor without.

Torqeedo is not a good option for sure. Battery is not as waterproof as it should be, and overall it is a bit flimsy.

I've been looking at one of these for a while now: https://www.epropulsion.com/outboards/eLite-2/

Primarily for emergency return to shore if we lose the mast/sail and don't want to (or can't for whatever reason) paddle all the way back. I'd love to find someone who's got/tried one, but I just don't know anyone who does/has.
